Communicable Diseases Intelligence (CDI) is a quarterly publication of the Office of Health Protection, Australian Government Department of Health. It aims to provide information about communicable diseases in Australia to inform and assist those with responsibility for communicable disease control in a wide variety of settings.

Summary of issues for 2015

Issue 1 - March 2015 contains several articles on vaccine preventable diseases epidemiological review. Other contents include articles on household transmission of pertussis and norovirus outbreak in Victoria; a short report on the PHLN NAAT testing guidelines; annual reports on national notifiable diseases, gonococcal surveillance and trachoma surveillance, as well as the regular quarterly data reports.

Issue 2 - June 2015 contains one peer-reviewed article, three short reports and four annual reports: polio; tuberculosis; OzFoodNet and invasive pneumococcal disease, as well as the regular quarterly data reports.

Issue 3 - September 2015 contains two peer-reviewed articles, one short reports and six annual reports: rotavirus; gonococcal surveillance; FluCAN; flutracking; adverse events following vaccination and Australia's national notifiable diseases, as well as the regular quarterly data reports.

Issue 4 - December 2015 contains two peer-reviewed articles, one surveillance summary, several policy/guideline items, one annual reports, as well as the regular quarterly data reports.
