This figure shows notified cases of tuberculosis (TB) in Australia in the overseas-born population reported in 2014, presented by residency status and by the number of years since arrival in Australia. This graph shows that almost half of the overseas-born TB cases were diagnosed with active TB within four years of arrival in Australia, and of those cases, 20% were reported as international students.
