Figure 20 shows the percentage of immunisations on the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register given by provider type from January to December 2014, by jurisdiction. GPs administer the large majority of immunisations in Australia (77%). Regional differences are marked with immunisations almost entirely administered by GPs in some jurisdictions (New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia) whilst in other jurisdictions a majority are given by other providers (Victoria and the Northern Territory).
