1Competitors warmed up at Sarah Redfern football ovals in Minto, South Western Sydney, to get ready for the Campbelltown City Council Annual NAIDOC Touch Football tournament on 6 July.

What began as a wild and windy day, soon turned to blue skies and sunshine as the fields were inundated with keen touch footy players ready to put their skills to the test.

A total of 17 teams took part, made up of four junior and 13 senior teams, each battling it out in the name of NAIDOC.

At half time the players made their way to the clubhouse where they enjoyed a healthy lunch of fruit, bread rolls and wraps supplied by the Live Longer! Campaign.

Since it began in 2004, the NAIDOC Touch Football event has continued to grow, bringing the Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities of South Western Sydney together in the name of sport.

Thank you Campbelltown for getting active to Live Longer!
