The Riverina Medical and Dental Aboriginal Corporation in Wagga Wagga held a Live Longer! Healthy Community Day on Tuesday, 19 April 2011.
Kids from the Mt Austin Koori Education Team were decked out in the Live Longer! t-shirts and helped to paint the Live Longer! banner and man the water station.
The Healthy Community Day was well attended by the local community and a number of local primary health care services were on hand to meet with locals and have a chat about various options available to help them Live Longer!
The Live Longer! team helped to supply a healthy barbeque lunch and fresh fruit for those who felt peckish as well as some cool refreshing water in Live Longer! water bottles to wash it down.
Community members enjoyed meeting with health workers from various services and having a chat about health matters that affect their lives.
Thank you to RivMed and their staff for producing a great Healthy Community Day. Keep up the good work helping our mob Live Longer!
